Man, this image parade doesn’t even have my favorite scene, with Steve rescuing a (naked!) Tony Stark from giants, like a prince in a fairy tale, while Stark watches and sighs happily over His Hero.

I’m more than a little pit off by fandom’s insistence on sexualizing every single relationship; I root for the romantic friendship interpretation over teh smexy times in pretty much every debatable case*. But let’s not pretend this relationship is not romantic. It’s the definition of romantic. It’s even got the occasional bit of nature imagery thrown in.

Now all the Bruce/Tony shipping, that’s clearly just wrong and ill-informed. Tony’s a one man man, yo. ;P

*Especially in mixed-gender relationships, because FFS, people. Friendship is by far the most common variant of adult relationship, let’s not pretend it only happens within biologically determined cohorts.
